Former ITV presenter Eamonn Holmes has been met with backlash after he claimed that people "can't handle the truth" about Phillip Schofield. Eamonn warned ITV that they must follow through and make public evidence of how their investigation into Phillip’s affair was carried out.

The GB News presenter has said it all seems to have been brushed under the carpet, reports the Mirror. The 63-year-old feels that ITV didn’t carry out a thorough investigation into Phillip’s affair with a younger staff member on This Morning.

However ITV bosses said they did investigate.
