Eamonn Holmes at loggerheads with co-host over brutal Meghan Markle rant

Eamonn Holmes butted heads with his GB News co-host after he brutally nicknamed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as the "gruesome twosome".

The former This Morning presenter appeared on his GB News show alongside co-host Isabel Webster as they discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's loved up snaps. Eamonn, 63, savagely branded the couple "the gruesome twosome" and claimed Meghan "can sniff out a camera from three miles", writes the Mirror.

Harry and Meghan appeared on the kiss cam at the NBA basketball game on Monday night, where the Duchess seemingly declined a kiss from her husband. Discussing the sweet moment, Eamonn declared: "Here are the gruesome twosome, they are at a basketball game, as you would, because we are all hooked on basketball aren't we?

"There they are, and the thing is, when you see the other pictures, everybody around them eats, everyone is just eating, they have food in their hands."

The former ITV star continued his tirade: "But she can sniff a camera lens out from, you know three miles," while Isabel defended Meghan stating: "She looks great."

"But she knows where she sniffs the lens," Eamonn once again added.

Guest Scarlette MccGwire was less than impressed with his comments and added: "Thank you, thank you Isabel I just... this is just a photo!" Fellow guest David Mellor disagreed and claimed: "They aim for vulnerable people like you see."

As tension heated up in the studio, Isabel said: "I am no Meghan fan, but she looks hot, she looks great."

Her co-host Eamonn hit back and claimed: "So as long as she looks ok? That is what you are saying, that's because you're superficial. You're superficial, if she was an ugly person, if she was an ugly person you wouldn't be praising her."

Visibly annoyed by her co-star's reaction, Isabel clapped back: "No, I didn't say that. That is not what I said, that is not what I said, Eamonn Holmes."

"What is going on with Eamon, these days, let Meghan live her life, this is passive bullying, has Eamon met Meghan ever, stop this! @IsabelWebster_," one GB News viewer wrote on Twitter after the segment aired this morning.

"I see the relationship of Isabelle/Eamon under strain," another mused, as a third quipped: "Isabel always looks so uncomfortable."
