Eagles wide receiver Jahan Dotson switches jersey number

The Eagles are hitting the practice field on Sunday for their first practice of the regular season as the team starts preparation for a battle against the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday night.

With the roster trimmed from 90 players to 53, several players, like Will Shipley and Quinyon Mitchell, have switched jersey numbers. Former Penn State star Jahan Dotson also switched from the No. 87 to the No. 83.

Dotson, 24, was a 2022 first-round pick from Penn State, and he had 49 catches for 518 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie.

Last season, Dotson logged 35 catches for 523 yards and seven touchdowns and arrived in Philadelphia as the clear No. 3 wide receiver.
