The Eagles are waiving former sixth-round pick Patrick Johnson ahead of Monday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
The team announced the move before pregame warmups and three other roster moves.

Johnson’s departure could signal that Jalyx Hunt is ready to contribute weekly to the defense and special teams.
The athletic linebacker could be a plug-and-play addition to the practice squad if he goes unclaimed and could be elevated if an injury occurs.
Johnson has played four seasons for the Eagles, logging 23 solo tackles, 12 assists, and one fumble recovery.
