The NovaCare Complex will host several intriguing competitions this summer, but none more intense than the battle to start at right guard.
Philadelphia still has the best offensive line in the NFL despite losing Andre Dillard (Titans) and Isaac Seumalo (Steelers) in free agency.
The assumption was that 2022 second-round and former Nebraska center Cam Jurgens would slide over to the right guard, but Nick Sirianni is saying not so fast.
Philadelphia drafted former Alabama left tackle Tyler Steen at No. 65 overall, and the expectation is that he’ll be moved to guard.
After the Eagles completed their picks in Friday’s third round, the head coach was asked about the depth chart, and Sirianni made it clear that the best player would win the job.

Jurgens is talented, but some pundits believe he’s too naturally small to play the position, while Steen looks like an obvious choice at 6 foot 5, 315 pounds. Jack Driscoll and Sua Opeta could also offer competition for the job, along with Tyrese Robinson.
