With Vic Fangio in Philadelphia as the Eagles defensive coordinator, the legendary play-caller is starting to put together his staff.
The NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reports that the Eagles have requested permission to interview Dolphins safeties coach Joe Kasper for the same position.
Kasper was a quality control coach for the Eagles in 2021/2022, part of the Super Bowl staff. He was valued member of J. Gannon's defensive group and earned a promotion to position coach in Miami last year. https://t.co/JY7CubxOtQ

Kasper spent two seasons (2021-22) with Philadelphia as a defensive quality control coach before joining Fangio in Miami with the Dolphins.
Philadelphia hired Casper ahead of the 2021 season after he spent three years at Duke University as a Grad Assistant.
Kasper’s experience at the college level included defensive backs for two years and quarterbacks for his final season with the Blue Devils.
