Eagles place Nakobe Dean on injured reserve after foot surgery

The Eagles will be without middle linebacker Nakobe Dean after the second-year star suffered a foot injury that’ll keep him out for multiple weeks.

The move ensures he misses four games for the second time this season after suffering an initial foot injury during the win over New England.

In his first regular-season start, Dean logged seven tackles and a tackle for loss before exiting with a foot injury.

Dean had started the last three games before his injury, logging 30 tackles, two for loss, and a half-sack on the year.

Nicholas Morrow started in Dean’s place earlier this year and will likely return to that role.
