Hours before Jason Kelce shared his retirement from football, he tweeted about “not doing a keg video this year,” an ode to a previous retirement announcement in 2023 — from radio — that had the internet in a frenzy. True to his words, no kegs were used during his official announcement, but fans had one ready for him anyway as he drove away from the Eagles’ facilities afterward.
Jason Kelce is a man of the people and is beloved by Philadephia Eagles fans for his incredible career, and ability always to live life like it’s one big party. That wasn’t going to change with Jason walking away from football. Several fans were determined to send him out the right way. As Jason was leaving his retirement announcement on Monday, there was a keg of Miller Lite ready for him just in case he wanted to party one last time.
