The Eagles are 48 hours away from departing for Glendale, Arizona, the site of Super Bowl LVll and there are some injury concerns.
Slot cornerback Avonte Maddox was seen in a walking boot on Friday and didn’t take part in Friday’s practice.
Maddox was a non-participant on Wednesday and Thursday, and we won’t know how serious things are until next week when Philadelphia starts to ramp up its Super Bowl preparation out West.
UPDATE
Eagles CB Avonte Maddox (toe/rest) being held out of practice is viewed as a precautionary measure, and the expectation is Maddox will be ready to play in Super Bowl LVII, according to a league source.
