Former Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft.
Ringo was picked at No. 105 and became the fifth Georgia player selected. He is the third former Georgia defender selected by the Eagles in this draft and fifth over the last years.
Ringo will join former teammates Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith in Philadelphia.
It was a big slide for Ringo, who was originally projected to be a first- or second-round pick. There were rumors of potential medical concerns regarding Ringo.
Darnell Washington medical concerns being reported already.
I’ve heard some chatter in the last hour that Kelee Ringo has some of his own.

Ringo came to Georgia as a five-star recruit out of Scottsdale, Arizona, in the class of 2020. He ranked as the nation’s No. 4 overall recruit coming out of high school.
And he certainly did not disappoint during his three years in Athens. He leaves UGA after making one of the most iconic plays in program history, a game-sealing pick six against Alabama in the 2021 national championship game.
He followed with another nice season in 2022, helping Georgia’s defense to another dominant season and a second consecutive national title.
Ringo’s size and athleticism was on full display at the NFL combine. He checked in at 6-feet, 2 inches and 207 pounds and clocked a blazing 4.36 40-yard dash in Indianapolis.
Ringo recorded 42 tackles (37 solo), one forced fumble, and two interceptions during the 2022 college football season.
