EA Sports has confirmed this morning that FIFA 22 players will receive bans for 'exploiting' EA's FUT Division Rivals unlimited rewards error.
Following the FIFA 22 Division Rivals rewards window opening at 08:00 AM GMT on Thursday, February 10, 2022, some players discovered that if you opened your rewards via the FUT Web App and then refreshed the page, players were able to claim their rewards again, and this method appeared to work for an unlimited amount of times, allowing players to stockpile FIFA packs.
EA Sports then began investigating the issue at 14:07 PM GMT on Thursday, February 10, 2022, some six hours after the FIFA 22 Division Rivals rewards window opening, temporarily suspending players' ability to claim their Division Rivals rewards whilst they were investigating the issue.

By Friday, February 11, 2022 at 04:39 AM GMT, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Division Rivals rewards were re-enabled by EA Sport s, with the unlimited rewards error apparently fixed.
But following the re-enabling of claiming of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Division Rivals rewards, speculation started to grow on social media about possible bans for players who exploited EA's error and were able to claim an unlimited number of free FIFA packs, with some players suggesting that because it was EA's error, those packs were fair game.
However, at 12:21 AM GMT on Saturday, February 12, 2022, EA Sports confirmed via their @EAFIFADirect Twitter account that bans were coming for FIFA 22 players who 'consistently' or 'severely' exploited the FUT Division Rivals unlimited rewards error.
"We have identified active accounts that consistently exploited Division Rivals Rewards earlier this week and have suspended them from FIFA 22 online for 7 days," Said EA Sports via their @EAFIFADirect Twitter account.
"Additionally, we have identified active accounts that severely exploited Division Rivals Rewards earlier this week. These accounts have received the aforementioned suspension and will also no longer be able to access the Transfer Market in FIFA 22."
It is unclear how many accounts EA Sports has identified at this stage, for those who 'consistently' or 'severely' exploited the FUT Division Rivals unlimited rewards error, players will be handed either seven-day FUT bans or a permanent FUT transfer market ban in FIFA 22.

Season 4 of FIFA 22 Ultimate team got underway on Thursday, February 3, 2022, which included a fresh set of season progress objectives, another update to how rewards are earned in Division Rivals, an update of the Division Rivals ladder, and some new rewards for selected ranks.
Division Rivals has a ladder system in FUT 22 where each Division is made up of 'Ranks' that reflect your progress within a Division, but the latest season update has seen EA limit each division to just one rank, with the intermediary ranks now called Checkpoints.
