Married At First Sight couple Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling have shared the wonderful news of their daughter's arrival. The pair met on the E4 reality show, which sees singletons marry strangers, last year and are the only couple from the UK version of the 2021 series still together.
The loved-up couple revealed they were expecting their first child back in April, almost a year since the pair were thrown together at the alter on the popular show, which is currently back on-screens with a brand new series. Revealing the happy news, Tayah told OK! : "We’re so excited. And the thing is we weren’t even trying! It just happened. I can’t believe it. We’re obviously just very fertile."
And now their little girl has made her entrance into the world with Tayah taking to Instagram to reveal the first photo and name of their first child. " 7th October, the day our lives completely changed," the new mum typed alongside a photo of the family-of-three in hospital.
"Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way," Tayah continued before turning her attention to her man. "To my Adam, I didn’t think I could love you even more but seeing you with our daughter completely fills my heart.
"Just want to say a massive thank you to Doncaster hospital, for going above and beyond to reassure me and to the amazing lady who stayed after her shift had finished to deliver our girl."
She ended her post, which included a sweet photo of their newborn daughter, but sharing her name: "Welcome to the world our darling Beau."
Former Gogglebox star Lisa Baggs was among the first to comment, writing: "How wonderful! She is just perfect! Huge congrats to you both." MAFS UK series nine star Kate Laidlaw added: "Awwww this is beautiful. Congratulations to you both."
Adam also announced his and Tayah's arrival with a picture of him carrying Beau in a car seat as they left the hospital following her birth. "Welcome to the world Beau Emily Aveling. 07/10/22," he typed. "I will never forgot the moment me and your mum first clocked eyes on you. I will never forget the look in your mums eyes. Her eyes saying a thousand words!
"What mothers have to go through to bring a baby to this world is incredible. And you did absolutely amazing @tayahvictoria and I’m so proud of you! Starting a family and becoming a Dad is all I’ve ever wanted. Thank you to the amazing health workers at Doncaster hospital and especially to the midwife who stayed long after her shift to stay with us and deliver her! The NHS is amazing and needs protecting and funding at all costs!"
The new dad went on to reveal: "We filmed through the hospital as we wanted to share a bit more of our journey, seen as though most of you watched the very first time we met each other, which we will be sharing to our YouTube Channel soon!"
Amy Christophers, who appeared on the same MAFS UK series as the new parents, wrote: "Suits you so much! You’re a natural!! Massive congratulations to you both [heart emoji] can’t wait to meet her."
Following their time on the marriage experimental programme, Tayah and Adam were one of a few couples still standing and in emotional scenes Adam proposed for real during their final vow renewal. The pair were planning to tie the knot later this year, the same date that both their parents married due to the one seen on the show not being legally binding.
But with their little one due just five days later, the couple have decided to push their nuptials back by a year. "We’ve pushed it back to next year. We were going to get married on the date that both our parents got married so we were going to keep that tradition going, but now the baby is due around then so that can’t happen," Adam told OK! earlier this year.
