There was drama on Married At First Sight UK after dental hygienist Jess Potter found out on her wedding day that her new husband works as a stripper. Jess has now revealed what she thinks now of hubby Pjay after bursting into tears at the news that he's a member of the famous male dance troup Dreamboys.
Jess, who previously bonded with Pjay over their love of the Harry Potter fantasy series as they met for the first time while saying their vows, cried when he told her about his career. She declared that she wanted to go home and didn't want to go on their honeymoon.
"I don't want to go out with a stripper," she told the E4 matchmaking show after his revelation. "I get that it's your job and everything but it's just not what I'm about. I just feel like 'how are you going to look after me?'"

And when her mum found her sitting alone outside after she failed to turn up for the wedding breakfast Jess said: "I want to go home because he's a stripper and he lives at home with his mum." She told her mum: "I want someone to look after me. Everyone will laugh at me."
After Jess finally took her seat alongside her groom, her mum gave Pjay a grilling and he explained that it wasn't something he could see himself doing forever. He also explained that his career was to support his five-year-old son.
Taking to her Instagram yesterday after the episode aired on Thursday night, Jess shared a photo of herself from their big day with the words: "Welll...wedding is over... had so much support from every I really appreciate it and can’t wait for you to see the journey we both have."
She went on to reveal how she feels about her husband as the compliments poured in. Chicksda said: "You looked absolutely stunning and I would of reacted the same way if I found out that my new husband was a stripper. He seems lovely and genuine though xx" and Jess replied with a raising hands emoji: "Thanks hun!! And yeah he is."
She replied with a love hert emoji as loumariewheatcroft_echoed: "You did and looked INCREDIBLE babe! F*** THE HATERS you should be so proud of how you handled last nights episode! keep shining girl!"
anita_moody8773 told her: "You can not ask for a nicer man In Pjay he has a heart off gold. Met him a load of time with the Dreamboys a true gentleman."
Viewers were scratching their heads over Jess' reaction. @hollysiobhan88 tweeted: "I’m so confused how Jess can go from being absolutely buzzing PJ loves Harry Potter to absolutely gutted he’s a stripper… it would be the other way round for me if I’m honest."
And @lauragabell wrote: "just not getting why Jess is crying at PJay being a stripper & saying she wants out…if you have stuff in common, you get on,you see potential why does his job matter? If you can’t see past that you don’t deserve a decent match. Take the judgement elsewhere."
