Millions of Brits are being urged to check their bank account to see if they have received a payment of up to £600. The government has been hanging out payments since November last year for some eligible claimants to help with the Cost of Living crisis.
Around 11.5million pensioners across the country are entitled to both a Winter Fuel Payment and Pensioner Cost of Living Payment. However, not everyone has received these payments, The Mirror reports.
Those born before September 26 1956 could be eligible for between £250 and £600 as a ‘Winter Fuel Payment’, which aims to help those struggling with rising energy costs.
