Updated information has been issued in relation to Winter Fuel Payments, which are being enhanced this year in response to the cost of living crisis. It will see some households get as much as £1,200.
People who are eligible for the payment will see it doubled to as much as £600. If two people in the same household qualify, that would make it £1,200.
There are more than eight million eligible households that will see the boost. Payments will mostly be paid automatically in November or December, with payments due to be made by January 23, 2023, at the latest, reports BirminghamLive.
