Universal Credit claimants are due to receive a substantial increase in their payments from Monday, April 11. The rate for the payment will increase alongside a number of benefits, in line with the State Pension.
The Department for Work and Pensions has confirmed the increases will include Universal Credit, alongside other payments it delivers such as Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Jobseeker's Allowance. The increases will be regardless of your situation, and can be seen below:
