As reported in the Autumn Statement last month, those currently in receipt of certain benefits will see payments go up by 10.1 per cent in April 2023.
The uprating will come into effect on April 10, 2023, and will be delivered by both the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). And now, the DWP and HMRC have published the full confirmation of details of the new payments rates.
They have also stated the revised benefit cap, and Tax Credit thresholds, which can all be found on the GOV.UK website. Here, we have condensed all this information into a handy guide for you to prepare in your diaries for April next year.
