More than six million people across the UK have received their £150 cash boost, according to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
This means that the majority of eligible claimants have received their Disability Cost of Living Payment, the first of which were paid on June 20. However, the DWP highlighted that not everyone will have received their payment yet, and some people may find that they don't get their payment until after the two-week payment window ends.
If you believe you are eligible for the payment but have not yet received it, there is no need to contact the DWP. This is because there are some outstanding payments due to be made before July 4 - when the payment window will end.

However, the DWP has now confirmed that some payments will be made after July 4 where eligible claimants are still awaiting confirmation of their eligibility or entitlement to a qualifying disability benefits such as Disability Living Allowance.
Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride MP, said: “Tackling high inflation remains our priority as this is the best way we can ease pressure on households and help them with the cost of living. By paying more than six million disabled people £150 in less than a week, we are delivering on our steadfast commitment to providing timely support for those who need it most.
What you should do if you haven't received your payment
Currently, there is no reason to contact the DWP if you haven't received your Disability Cost of Living payment as there is still time for it to be paid out. Instead, you should keep an eye on your bank account for the £150 payment which will appear on your bank statement as "DWO COL" alongside your National Insurance Number.

However, if the July 4 deadline passes and you still have not received your payment then you should contact the DWP. The government confirmed that anyone expecting a payment who hasn't received it within the two-week window can report a missing payment from July 5.
Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work, Tom Pursglove MP, said: “We are ensuring that disabled people facing additional costs can access these extra funds as soon as possible, and I’m delighted the vast majority of payments have been successfully made to eligible people within just five working days. This will be backed up by further cost of living payments for benefit claimants in the coming months, showing this government’s commitment to providing millions in support for the most vulnerable in our society.”
