Millions of people across the UK get Personal Independent Payment (PIP) benefits - and these can be awarded for up to ten years.
PIP is a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefit for anyone aged over 16 and under the state pension age with a disability, mental health condition or long-term illness.
Recent data shows that more than three million people in the UK get PIP payments ranging from £24.45 and £156.90 per week.
