The £150 disability support payment is set to be landing in bank accounts this week. It comes after six million people claiming disability payments will get the extra funds.
The payment is part of the government's cost of living support package to help households during the current crisis. It was expected to land in bank accounts from September 20 but “operational issues” resulted in only a small number of payments made.
The Daily Record reports the “majority of people” will receive a payment from Monday, September 26 according to the DWP. However, some payments may take a bit longer.
