Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson performed a concert on Friday night in Memphis for WWE SmackDown, and unexpectedly threw a diss at Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant.
The Rock’s concert focused its aim on WWE rivals Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, who Johnson and Roman Reigns will take on in a tag team match at WrestleMania 40 in April.
“Cacklin’ and dancin’ is all that [Rollins] do. No wonder that your wife is more popular than you,” Johnson began singing. “You’re so damn desperate to make them all cheer. But ‘The Rock’ is going to make that title disappear. You’re simply an embarrassment, son. Just like Ja Morant when he’s waving a gun,” Johnson concluded with a smile.
Johnson made sure to let Morant know that he was joking.
“Love you, Ja,” Johnson said with a laugh.

The Rock’s joke in the direction of Morant is of course, in reference to the Grizzlies star’s 25-game suspension that he served at the beginning of this season for a second incident handling a gun on a social media live stream.
It’s unlikely that Johnson will be in any sort of hot water with Morant, but his wrestling rivals in Rhodes and Rollins can’t be too thrilled with the roast.
WrestleMania is sure to be spicy come April 6.
