Former Ohio State star quarterback and Pittsburgh Steeler, Dwayne Haskins, has passed away this morning after being struck by a car in South Florida. Haskins was the starting quarterback for Ohio State in 2018 and broke a plethora of school and Big Ten conference records before being selected by the Washington Redsksins in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Despite only starting one season for the Buckeyes, Haskins is still a legend as the quarterback had one of the most statistically impressive seasons in college football history and finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting.
Haskins was only 24 years old and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
As more becomes available we’ll have more.
