Duran Duran have revealed their former guitarist Andy Taylor is battling prostate cancer.

The band made the sad announcement in a speech as they were admitted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 61-year-old was absent as the band produced a special performance of some of their biggest hits at the ceremony.
