Dundee couldn't resists a pop at their city rivals Dundee United after they were thumped 9-0 by Celtic - taking a cheeky dig at the hashtag used by the Tannadice side during the thrashing.
United fans will be desperate to forget their lacklustre start to the campaign, which has seen them slump to a 7-0 defeat to AZ Alkmaar in Europa Conference League qualifying and crash out of Europe. Things haven't got much better in the Scottish Premiership action, having lost their last four games before the drubbing at the hands of Ange Postecoglou's relentless champions.
That has led to Jack Ross being shown the door after just seven games in charge, Dundee couldn't resist a jibe during all the Tannadice turmoil. During the 9-0 defeat game, the United social media team continued to use the hashtag #UnitedInPursuit as they listed every scorer from the Celtic side on a disastrous afternoon.
That sparked an anger from fans who urged them to scrap the hashtag. Following their Premier Sports Cup win over Falkirk, the Dee admins took on their own version.
They shared a picture from the action of players celebrating their win as the Bairns dropped out of the competition. And they cheekily captioned it: "#DundeeInPursuit".
