Dundee told Hamilton Accies star Lewis Smith is 'going nowhere' as John Rankin quizzed on transfer speculation

Lewis Smith John Rankin Dundee Hamilton Accies Gary Bowyer Smithy New Douglas Park

Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin insists midfielder Lewis Smith is going nowhere amid interest from Dundee.

Reports emerged earlier this week that the 22-year-old was on Dundee boss Gary Bowyer's wanted list ahead of the transfer deadline.

That interest has now been confirmed by Rankin but after his side lost 2-0 Raith Rovers this afternoon, he insisted Smith will be staying at New Douglas Park.
