Dundee DJ Hannah Laing is set to wow crowds at this summer’s TRNSMT festival in Glasgow.
The hugely popular ‘spin doctor’ - who has been DJing for nine years - is closing out the legendary Boogie Bar on the Sunday night.
She was chosen by festival organisers Cinch for the prestigious slot at the end of the mega event that’s running between 8-10 July.
TRNSMT’s iconic Boogie Bar returns this summer season, giving festival revellers the opportunity to shed their inhibitions and dance into the night to some of Scotland’s biggest up and coming DJ acts.
As well as Hannah, TRNSMT veterans BETH, K4CIE and Dan South will be wowing crowds alongside newcomers Nico Balducci and Frankie Elyse.
A festival spokesman told Dundee Live: “After an unforgettable debut last year, The Boogie Bar is back, better than ever, offering an eclectic mix of old school rave bangers and razor-sharp contemporary beats, there will truly be something for everyone.”
And describing Hannah’s inclusion, they added: “Closing out Sunday night is Dundee’s own Hannah Laing, inspired by her parents love of music, she quickly began DJing and by 19 years-old was playing at iconic venues across the world, including residences in Ibiza.
“Hannah’s popular edits have seen her gaining worldwide recognition, with her ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ mix gaining significant coverage and radio play.
“She’s had a massive year, coming off an Introduction slot at the BBC Big Weekend, she is a star in the making and her set is not to be missed.”
Just last month Hannah took to the stage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend
She was one of the acts playing the BBC Music Introducing stage on the first day of this year's mega event in Coventry.
She was hand-picked by Radio 1 Dance host Jaguar Bingham to play the stage, who plucked her out from scores of potential acts who submit their tunes to the Music Introducing platform hoping to get noticed.
BBC Music Introducing has helped to launch the careers of huge acts like George Ezra, Florence and the Machine and Jake Bugg.
