A special quilt featuring designs made by school kids has been presented to the Lord Lieutenant of Dumfries.
Pupils at New Abbey, Kirkbean and Colvend Primaries drew pictures of what they thought about the coronation of King Charles III, as did young participants at Cloverglen Service for Young Adults at Shambellie House.
Shambellie’s vice chairwoman and quilter in residence Ann Hill BEM, who was lucky enough to attend the coronation, used the designs for the quilt, which has now been presented to Lord Lieutenant Fiona Armstrong.
