Scotland cap Alex Craig has signed for Scarlets for the new season.
The 26-year-old from Castle Douglas has joined the Welsh side after leaving English Premiership outfit Gloucester.
Craig was part of the youth set-up at Stewartry RFC and Dumfries Saints, then moved to Gloucester’s academy.
He represented Hartpury RFC before signing a permanent deal with Gloucester, playing 49 times and earning two caps for Scotland during the 2021 Six Nations.
Now he has moved to Scarlets, who play in the United Rugby Championship.
Head coach, Dwayne Peel, added: “Alex is a young, athletic lock, who will add international quality to our pack of forwards. I’m looking forward to seeing him play and it’s been great to welcome him to Parc y Scarlets for our first day back.”
