Duleep Trophy: Rinku Singh picked for second round as stars rested before Bangladesh Tests

NEW DELHI: Stylish middle-order batter Rinku Singh got a call-up for the second round of Duleep Trophy as the majority of key players, selected for the India team for the opening Test match against Bangladesh, were rested.

Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant, were rested on Tuesday for the Duleep Trophy's second round, which gets underway in Anantapur on September 12. The other players selected for the national team on Sunday are Dhruv Jurel, Axar Patel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kuldeep Yadav, and Akash Deep. All of these players have been granted an exemption from the second round.
