Aberdeen star Duk has confirmed Benfica are due a whopping 50 percent of any future transfer fee.
The in-demand Dons star, who has netted 18 goals, has confirmed the Portuguese giants are due half of any Pittodrie sale. The 23-year-old, who has been linked with a number of top European and English clubs, moved from Benfica in the summer where the sell-on was negotiated as part of the deal.
Burnley are the latest club to be credited with an interest in the in-form forward as Vincent Kompany’s side start to plan for life in the English Premier League after securing promotion from the Championship. The Clarets are also thought to be considering a move to land Ryan Kent on a free transfer when his Rangers contract expires at the end of the season.nIf he they do decide to pony up for Duk, then Aberdeen are likely to demand a premium, given half of any fee will go to Benfica.
Duk, speaking to O Jogo, confirmed: “I have a contract with Aberdeen for two more seasons, until June 2025. Benfica has 50% of my transfer. But right now I'm very happy here. I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm in no rush to leave here. I'm focused on Aberdeen and what I want is to keep scoring goals.”
