TV and social media star Hughie Maughan revealed last Thursday that he spent €9,000 on a new bum, and viewers were quick to share their opinions about the man's decision to get work done.
Hughie returned to First Dates Ireland last week after an unsuccessful appearance in 2021, during which he was paired with a man who labelled him "an attention seeker".
Although Hughie's date seemed to go better this time around, viewers were more intrigued by his bum procedure admission.

He chatted to barman Neil before his date arrived and ended up describing how he came to have a €9,000 bum.
Neil assured the hopeful dater that "it looks good".
Hughie told him that in Turkey, he had fat injected into his bum.
He revealed: "I basically had fat taken from several areas of my body, under my neck, on my tummy and the bottom of my back and put it all into my bum. I couldn't sit down, lie down or do anything for six or seven weeks.
"I had to constantly kneel at the dining table while I was eating. I never got into the car for weeks."
Dublin Live wanted to find out if others would be willing to go to such lengths to achieve their desired behind, and the results rarely varied with most explaining they would rather spend that amount of money elsewhere.
A few said that they would buy a new car with €9,000 while one woman said she would buy a whole new wardrobe.
One woman revealed: "I would not spend €9,000 on a new bum. I'd rather find some inner peace and learn to love myself."
Another added: "Not €9,000 on a new bum, but I would spend €9,000 on my stomach and boobs. I'd love a tummy tuck, but definitely not €9,000 on a bum. You can do squats and build a bum."
While one woman joked: "Absolutely not. My arse looks great."
