A woman who stuck a stamp to a letter box after forgetting to attach it to an envelope hailed An Post for delivering the card.
Sarah Hogan, from Dublin, posted a card to congratulate her friend on the birth of her daughter last month, but forgot to attach the stamp to the envelope.
She retrieved a stamp and left it on the post box with a note begging the post collector to attach it to the card.
