Met Eireann has issued a rather dreary forecast for the weekend with plenty of cloud.
Although temperatures will reach the highs of 19 degrees in some parts of Ireland, the rest of the country will see slightly lower temperatures. But it's not all bad news as the national forecaster said the weather will turn "drier and sunnier" early next week.
Today will be dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells and the highest temperatures of 16 or 17 degrees. Tonight will be dry and partly cloudy with temperatures hitting the lows of 9 to 11 degrees.
