A Status Yellow Ice warning for the entire country will kick in at 6pm today and last until 10am tomorrow. The public have been warned to expect "hazardous conditions" and "icy stretches on roads and paths" due to the freezing temperatures.
This afternoon will see outbreaks of rain developing in Dublin, clearing by evening. It is expected to turn colder and clearer behind the rain with highest afternoon temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees, in light to moderate northwesterly breezes.
