An "unsettled" week with thunderstorms, heavy showers and some sunny spells is in store for Dublin, Met Eireann has warned.
The national forecaster has come out with the forecast for the upcoming week and most of it looks rainy, with thunderstorms early in the week. There will be moments of sunshine however, which we will be able to enjoy this morning as well.
Today's weather will start off dry with sunny spells. However, later this morning showers will spread northwards and there will be further showers through the afternoon with "a slight chance" of isolated thunderstorms. The highest temperatures will reach 18 to 20 degrees with moderate southerly breezes.
The showers will gradually die out this evening, Met Eireann has said. Tonight will remain mainly dry with clear spells. Temperatures throughout the night will be as low as seven degrees, with light variable breezes.

Don't forget your sunscreen if you're going out since the Solar UV Index will be high in sunshine. The pollen forecast is moderate today and low on Monday so hopefully those of us with allergies can get some rest.
Tomorrow will be a mixed bag, with sunshine and heavy showers with thunderstorms. Spot flooding is possible, the forecaster warned, and there will be a chance of hail. Highest temperatures will be of 18 to 20 degrees with light to moderate southeast to east breezes.
While they don't have anything else for Dublin after that, Met Eireann has given the national outlook for the rest of the week, describing it as "continuing unsettled".
