There's no chance of barbecues this weekend with Met Eireann issuing a grim forecast of heavy downpours tonight followed by strong winds over the weekend.
Friday will be warm in Dublin with highs of between 17 and 20C although it will be rather cloudy with some hazy sunny spells. Some showers will develop during the day and these will become heavy at times.
It will become wetter later tonight with heavy rain moving in. And the unsettled weather is set to last into next week with low pressure dominating.

Here's Met Eireann's national forecast for the days ahead:
Saturday: It will be potentially wet and very windy on Saturday night. There will be clear spells and scattered showers at first before rain and strong winds sweep northwards over the country.
That rain will turn heavy and there is a possibility of localised flooding. There is the potential for very strong winds for a short period, especially in the south and west of the country.
Sunday: Strong winds will ease on Sunday morning as heavy rain clears northwards. But it will be a breezy day with sunny spells and some scattered showers.
More heavy rain is expected to push in across the southern half of the country by nightfall and winds will strengthen with highs of 17 to 21C. The rain will clear northwards overnight with clear spells and scattered showers following.
Monday: More persistent rain will extend from the south after a bright start to the day and it will remain warm with temperatures between 17 to 22C. There will be clear spells overnight but there is a chance of heavy showers in the southwest.
Tuesday: Another day of sunny spells and scattered, possibly heavy showers on Tuesday. It will remain blustery with highs of 18 to 22 degrees.
