Ireland is set to bask in the hottest day of the year so far after a gruelling few days of bad weather and freezing temperatures.
Storm Noa wreaked havoc yesterday as strong winds and heavy rain led to huge disruptions. Parts of the country were also engulfed in snow.
The next couple of nights will be freezing but a huge change is on the way as this weekend is set to be a scorcher with the mercury hitting the highs of up to 19 degrees in some places. Independent forecasting page Weather Alerts Ireland said: "With [yesterday] being stormy a bit of good news is in order.
