Dublin has been named the "best weekend destination" for the second year in a row.
Readers of popular American travel magazine Global Traveler gave Ireland's capital the crown at its 11th annual Leisure Lifestyle Awards in Philadelphia.
In its annual survey, Global Traveler asked its readers to vote for their favourite destinations, attractions, hotels, airlines and cruise providers around the world.
Dublin scooped the top spot ahead of Rome and Paris, who were second and third respectively. São Miguel received the fourth highest number of votes, followed by Lisbon in fifth.
