A popular pizzeria has announced its temporary closure leaving locals devastated.
Forge Wood Fired Pizza in Windy Arbour will be shutting its doors for the summer. The restaurant had opened during the Covid-19 lockdown and instantly became a massive hit amongst the locals.
Speaking on Instagram, the owner said: "[The outlet] in Windy Arbour is now closed for the summer. We will reopen again in September, a big thank you to everyone for all the support over a great winter!!!"
They went on to say that their branch in Dingle, Co Kerry will be reopening this summer at the Wave in the old fish factory. They added: "A big thanks to Michael & Owen for having us back, the place is looking amazing, be sure to give it a follow!!

"The opening date still to be decided, some work still to be done. But it will be soon!!!"
Dundrum locals were heartbroken at the news of the summer closure with one person saying: "Devastated. Will have to find another pizzeria over summer." Another person said: "Noooo, so sad Windy Arbor is closed, was headed there tonight. Will be counting down to September!"
