Dublin restaurant hosting themed bottomless brunch including '80s pop and Beyonce

A city centre restaurant has announced a series of nostalgic themed bottomless brunch events that millennials are likely to love.

Happy Endings, located on Aston Quay, is looking forward to putting the party back in bottomless brunch for the next few weekends.

First up is a '00s Guilty Pleasures bottomless brunch this weekend, taking place at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27.

As well as 90 minutes of bottomless drinks and delicious food, guests can expect epic throwback tunes from the iconic (albeit cheesy) decade. Anyone who was there will know that the 2000s was full to the brim of the happiest unapologetic pop music and all of that will be celebrated as diners bop to the likes of McFly, Busted and Rihanna.

The following weekend, Saturday and Sunday March 5 and 6, it is a Queen B takeover as the brunches consist of tunes from one of the most iconic artists of her generation, Beyonce. Whether you're a single lady or you're crazy in love, this is sure to be one that will get you moving as the event is hosted by a drag performer.

Following that on March 12 and 13 is an '80s pop bottomless brunch, consisting of tunes from legends of the decade such as Madonna.

General Manager of Happy Endings Cian Goodwill spoke to Dublin Live about what people can expect from the upcoming events, saying he's looking forward to seeing people having a good time after the two years we've all had.

He explained: "We kind of want to get back to normal a little bit, and let everyone get back to having a bit of craic again. The brunches were kind of the first time I've noticed those little changes, things going back to looking like how it was before."

Kicking off these nostalgic themed brunches was a special ABBA event last weekend, which Cian described as "mighty".

He revealed: "It was hopping pretty much all day Saturday and Sunday."

Cian added: "I have done a lot of drag brunches and hosted other brunch events over in London over the last couple of years. We're trying to put our own little touch on brunch in the city."

Bookings for the upcoming bottomless brunch events at Happy endings can be made here.
