An iconic GAA landmark pub has reopened today after four years of major refurbishments.
'The Big Tree' is finally back open to football fans, students and locals after work began on the site in 2019.
The much-loved pub and adjoining hotel are now run by Cliste Hospitality with 80 new jobs for grab.
Cliste Hospitality Group Operation Director, Chris Austin and Cliste Hospitality Group Project Manager, Veronica Timlin were present at the much-anticipated launch.

The CEO of Cliste Hospitality, Paul Fitzgerald said he is looking forward to the pub becoming part of the North Dublin community again.
He said: "The iconic Big Tree pub is now part of DUBL!N ONE and we are proud to be custodians of this landmark hostelry that has been a feature of the Dublin pub landscape for generations.
"Only an 8-minute walk from Croke Park Stadium, we are looking forward to The Big Tree being a part of the quintessential match day experience again, as well as becoming an integral part of and contributor to our local community and neighbourhood here in Dublin 1.”
The popular meeting spot was bought last May in a multimillion-euro deal that saw the pub turned into a 163-bedroom hotel.
The decision to build a hotel on the site of the GAA pub was originally met with great criticism from locals.
The original bar was established in 1453 and was always a popular meeting spot on All-Ireland days.
It was known for the live sports played across 20 screens inside as well as pool tables making for competitive live entertainment.
However, it has been replaced by the hotel with the total development costing the €20m.
A large ground floor restaurant and bar, the traditional Big Tree Irish pub and a rear terrace have also been built on the Dorset Street site.
Work on the site started on June 3, 2019 with the coveted building contract being given to Duggan Brothers Ltd.
