Dublin has been listed among the most affordable destinations around the world for luxury travel experiences.
New research from by money.co.uk revealed Dublin to be the tenth most affordable city in the world for luxury travel experiences with Bangkok in Thailand taking the top spot on the list.
The study examined factors such as costs of five star hotels, spa hotels, Michelin star meals and luxury car hire to come up with a total budget score out of 10.

Dublin's budget score came to be 6.04 out of 10. According to the study, the average cost of a Michelin star meal in Dublin is €119 while the average cost of a one night stay in a five star hotel averages at €586 in the capital.
The study also revealed that the average cost of luxury car hire per day in Dublin is €217. The average price of a one night stay at a spa hotel comes in at €309.
Following Bangkok on the list is Brussels, Verona, Osaka, Berlin, Frankfurt, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Lisbon and then Dublin. Bangkok was the cheapest city for luxury car hire (€56). The city also ranked amongst the cheapest for Michelin star meals (€142) and five star hotel stays (€279).
Meanwhile Brussels in Belgium was affordable across the board, particularly when it came to the cost of a five-star hotel (€341 per night) and luxury car hire (€142 per day).
In third place in Verona in Italy, which has the second-cheapest average cost when it comes to booking a spa hotel, at just €192 per night.
Other cities around the world which didn't make the list were also noted for particular affordable 'luxury' draws for tourists. The most affordable city for Michelin star dining is Athens with the average cost of a set menu in the Greek capital being €97.
The cheapest rate for a nightly five star hotel stay at properties listed on Booking.com is Hong Kong at €247 per night. The most affordable destination when it comes to booking a spa hotel is Osaka, with an average nightly rate of €168 per night.
