A frustrated Dublin mum-of-three has pleaded for help after her family has been forced to retreat to a tiny boxroom in her flat due to mould and dampness.
Jessica Molloy told Dublin Live that her children have been struggling with health issues after moving into the two-bedroom council flat on Temple Street in Dublin's northside. She said: "There's mould everywhere. The whole window in the kid's bedroom, the whole surrounding of the window, the ledge, the wall - it’s all literally covered in it.
"I moved here eight years ago and it's been going on for the last six years and they [Dublin City Council] have done nothing about it." Jessica, 43, said when her nine-year-old daughter Darcy was three, she had to be taken to hospital because of pneumococcal pneumonia in her left lung.
