Thousands of runners are set to take part in the Dublin City Marathon 2022 on Sunday, and we took to the streets to ask Dubliners what their favourite running spots are.
For one Dublin man who spoke to Dublin Live, the Phoenix Park was the best running spot. He said: "The Phoenix Park is absolutely beautiful, you go out first thing in the morning, it's fabulous to look at in the sunlight. You meet people that you see every single day running and it's just a great community.
"The gear, the wildlife, it's a dream," he added. Another runner who is set to run the Dublin Marathon tomorrow said that he favoured a long run in Howth.

He said: "Up and down Howth summit, it's a challenge. It's my first time doing the marathon so looking forward to it."
Three ladies who are taking part in the Dublin Marathon on Sunday revealed that they have trained for it by regularly running from Sutton to Portmarnock along the new cycle path. One lady said: "We've done it about a hundred times."
A second added: "We know every step." A third lady commented: "We're looking forward to the finish line." The three ladies also vowed to treat themselves to some delicious pizza after they cross the Dublin Marathon's finish line on Sunday.
Other favourite spots that proved popular include the hilly region of Greystomes to Bray area, the scenic Shanganagh Park in Shankill, and the coast road in Clonarf.
Meanwhile, St Stephen's Green, Chapelizod, Sandymount and Forty Foot were also highly popular destinations for marathon runners during their training. One Dubliner who was registering for the Dublin City Marathon said: "We like a good run out to Forty Foot from Clondalkin up the canal and out the coast road, and in for a swim at the end. Perfect bit of training."
