A Dublin man was arrested following a short 'car chase' in Kent earlier today.
UK police were alerted after tools were allegedly seized from a van in Hythe, Kent this morning. It is understood a man left the scene in a white Citroen Berlingo van.
Police then pursued a van in a 'car chase'. The Citroen collided with police cars and came to a halt on Butts Ash Lane, Hythe.
A 32-year-old man from Dublin was detained following the crash. He was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and robbery.

Police are now looking for witnesses to the alleged theft. Tools were taken from a white Mercedes Springer van located at an address in Mariners Mews, Hythe at approximately 8am.
