The M50 was temporarily closed after a crash in Dublin late on Saturday night (July 30).
All three northbound lanes were blocked because of the incident between Firhouse and Ballinteer / Dundrum. The M50 Dublin twitter account first reported the incident at 10.40pm. In a later tweet, the traffic monitoring service said: "Collision was reported earlier as S'bound between J12 Firhouse and J13 Dundrum is actually on the N'bound carriageway. Emergency services are on scene and all 3 lanes are currently blocked."
Then, at 10.30pm, it said: "Left lane has reopened N'bound between J12 Firhouse and J13 Dundrum as emergency services work to clear a collision."
