Trinity College are looking to hire several library assistants for the upcoming summer months with an impressive salary.
Trinity is a familiar sight for many students, and it is currently recruiting several library assistants to work in the Library Shop and Online Fulfilment areas for the busy summer season. The hours of work offered are 35 per week, five days out of seven.
The successful candidates will join the team responsible for serving the one million visitors to the Old Library and Book of Kells Exhibitions annually. According to Trinity College's job advert, previous retail experience is necessary and experience in the tourism industry is an advantage, while another European language is also an advantage.

Four successful applicants will be expected to take up posts on March 27, 2023 and the remaining four will start on May 8, 2023. The shifts will vary as follows: 8am-4.00pm, 10am-6.00pm, and 11.30am-7.30pm.
A shift allowance of 16.66% will also be paid in addition to basic salary for shifts completed. The position also comes with a great salary ranging from €24,937–€32,787 a year under the Library Assistant 3 Merged Salary Scale.
In its job advert for the roles, Trinity College said: "Library Shop staff are an integral part of the library / visitor services team and often the first point of contact a visitor will have with the library."
