Chinese phone company Huawei is to create 200 jobs in Dublin through plans for a cloud hub.
The investment worth €150 million will see the phone company set up their first cloud hub in Europe. Huawei said 60 jobs will be created over the next two years at the hub with a further 140 created by 2027, the Sunday Business Post reports.
The roles up for grabs are said to include sales, pre-sales, legal, tax, operational, management and research. Cloud services will be provided to businesses across Europe at the Dublin hub which will supported by the IDA Ireland.

Chief Executive of Huawei Ireland Tony Yangxu said Ireland is "strategically important" for the global deployment of their cloud services. He said: "We see Ireland as a strategically important location for the global deployment of Huawei Cloud."
"The new offering will be customised to meet the needs of various Irish and European customers, but particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises. It offers innovative Irish and European enterprises the opportunity to access new markets and potentially reach global customers."
The news follows Aldi announcing a recruitment drive to fill 112 vacancies across Dublin.
