The HSE is on the lookout for a driving instructor to join the National Ambulance Service based out in Tallaght.
With a starting salary of between €44,128 -€45,419, it can rise to the higher brackets of €46,908 - €48,297- €49,686- €51,305 - €52,926.
Serving over 4.6 million people, the NAS responds to 300,000 calls per year, employs over 1,600 staff across 100 locations and has a fleet of approximately 500 vehicles.
The successful candidate will report to the chief ambulance officer, head of education and competency assurance or a designated manager.
The main role of the driving instructor is to support the development of driving standards as well as monitor and direct driver competency within the NAS.
Some of the qualifications/experience required for the role includes:
the holder of a full unendorsed Class C1 driving licence
a minimum of two years of driving instruction experience, and be able to deliver training on B Category and C1 Category vehicles
Have experience in working in an emergency (Blue Light) service
