Clearco, a company that provides alternative finance for e-commerce businesses has announced its plans to create 125 jobs in Dublin.
The company was founded by Canadian Dragons Den star Michele Romanow and Andrew D'Souza and is currently valued at €2 billion.
The finance company offers equity-free investments and takes a share of a company's revenue as part of the funding deal. They are rivals to Irish tech unicorn Wayflyer, which recently reached a $1 billion valuation in just 2 and a half years.

Clearco first opened in Dublin last year and currently employs 75 people.
It currently supplies financing for a number of Irish companies including Brian O'Driscoll's sports clothing brand, Gym+Coffee.
The 125 jobs are set to focus on sales and business development. Clearco will use Dublin as its base to continue to expand into Europe.
"We’re looking forward to helping more founders find success without having to give away equity cheaply," Romanow told the Irish Times.
Asked about her Irish competition Wayflyer, she said: “They built a copycat of what we’re doing, which I think is incredibly flattering.”
